Kingdom Kids

We call our Children's Ministry Kingdom Kids because we are growing the next generation for the Kingdom of God.

“I tell you the truth, ‘Anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.’ Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.”

Mark 10:15-16

Join us Sundays at the 10:30am service.

Small Blessings

Our nursery,  Small Blessings, truly embodies its name—these are precious gifts from above. At St. Peter By-the-Lake, we are dedicated to teaching and nurturing young disciples of God. Your little ones, ranging from infants to four-year-olds, will be lovingly cared for as we provide faith-based lessons, songs, and playful activities. We warmly invite your small blessings to join us for our services at 8:30 AM or 10:30 AM, and experience how the teachings of God can enrich their lives from such an early age.

“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’ "

Matthew 19:14

Creation

We refer to our room for 5-year-olds to 2nd graders as Creation, as they are just starting their faith journey. Creation focuses on faith-based learning through engaging videos, games, music, and Bible stories. The children explore the Bible over 4-5 week sessions in a fun and exciting manner. At the end of each session, we host a celebration party where the children can reflect on and rejoice in all the wonderful lessons God has shared with us. Creation is held during our 10:30am service.

As it is written, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Ephesians 2:10

Wilderness

Welcome to the great outdoors! We warmly invite our 3rd to 5th graders to embark on their journey through life's wilderness. We offer a safe, enjoyable, and spiritually enriching environment where your young explorers can learn, discover, and deepen their faith. Our lessons are conducted in 4-5 week sessions, where the kids will engage in activities, play, and discuss God's plans for them along with the exciting new experiences ahead. Join us during our 10:30 service as we venture into the beautiful world of God's Word.

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Isaiah 43:19

City Life

In this vast and sometimes intimidating world, navigating the city can feel overwhelming and disorienting. Our Youth Sunday school, named City Life, symbolizes the bright future ahead, akin to the city lights, and represents how their faith can illuminate the darkness, much like a city on a hill that cannot be concealed. Together, we will explore the Bible to discover what it truly means to be a disciple of Jesus, learn how to interpret the Scriptures, and see how the Bible can assist them in their current struggles with friends, family, and relationships. We invite all 6th to 12th graders to join us at 9:30 for an engaging and impactful study.

“You are the light of the world.A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand and it gives light to all in the house . In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. "

Matthew 5:14-16
